Papers, 1803-1864.

These papers are primarily family correspondence, however, there are a few accounts, bills, etc., and Mrs. Griggs writes about the division of family slaves giving their value. Of special interest is the letter from Alexander St. Clair of Staunton to the executors of Col. George Nicholas of Kentucky concerning a land transaction between Col. Nicholas and Col. James Knox.
